Les tavernes traditionnelles oA? lon mange trA¨s bien A©taient accessibles A  pied. Nous avons passA© un trA¨s agrA©able sA©jour en famille et la piscine fut trA¨s apprA©ciA©e.

Ein tolles Haus in einer wundervollen Umgebung. Die Aussicht vom sauberen Pool ist gigantisch! Das Haus hat alles was man braucht und war sehr sauber. Wir kA¶nnen jedem diese Villa nur empfehlen und kommen sicherlich wieder. Lars

The villa was superb, situated in a stunning area with amazing views. The sound of the livestock in the local farms nearby in the mornings was a lovely change from city traffic. The local tavernas within walking distance were really lovely, got a good sense of local life and the food was most delicious. Easy to park in the area for taking the bus tours around Crete. The swimming pool was most enjoyable.

We have just come back from a 2 week stay in Villa Michalis. The location of the villa is very peaceful but still close enough to shops, tavernas etc. There is a LIDL 5 minutes down the road, useful for stock up. There is also a nice taverna ( Katerina) within 100 metres where we had food twice. The only thing you can hear are goats, chickens and the occasional pigeon when you lie by the pool. Minimal traffic on the road outside- very private. The pool was immaculate and the house was very clean and well maintained. The A/C worked well in all the rooms. There was always plenty of hot water even on the 2 grey days we had. The living room has a sofa which suited us fine, might be a struggle to get 4 people on it though. The kitchen is well equipped and even had some basic supplies like washing up liquid, cling film, foil etc. The BBQ is great, had many nice meals in the villa relaxing and watching the fabulous sea view. There were no mosquitos and we only saw a couple of wasps which makes a great change from other Greek holidays we have had. It made for some nice relaxing outdoor dining. All in all a fabulous stay, I can highly recommend it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and will definitely be coming back. The Villa and pool were fantastic and Maroulas is a beautiful town which we really enjoyed exploring. The cleaning staff and pool cleaner were lovely and very very helpful. Thanks for a great holiday Agni Travel

Been here a few times now and we really love it. Ideal accommodation for a quiet holiday. Weather always pleasant in May and very comfortable. A car is essential since the villa is a little isolated, but well worth the effort.

My wife and I have just returned home from a fantastic two week holiday at the Villa Michalis. The villa accommodation and location exceeded all our expectations> The villa was spotlessly clean and well maintained. The location provided wonderful views right along the north coast of the island yet was very private. The local tavernas were great and other facilities were within easy driving distance. We explored the coast and the mountains. Some of the mountain scenery was truly breathtaking. All in all a really great spot that we would love to visit again. We would highly recommend it. I should also mention the excellent service provided by Agni Travel from first booking to completion. Many Thanks

The villa was lovely ,spacious and spotless. beautiful views. we loved the sounds of the local sheep,goats ,chickens.etc. also we appreciated being left alone and if the pool cleaner arrived he was extremely polite and discreet. the lovely owner gave us some fresh eggs . will return soon we hope. Thavma restaurant near by was our favourite place too..highly recommend .

What an excellent location to enjoy a holiday

A very comfortable and excellently maintained villa in a quiet peaceful and beautiful location. A little off the beaten track perhaps if some nightlife was your aim. An ancient village (Venitian) 100m up the hill looks as though it is being renovated which should add to the delights of Villa Mikail in the future. The villa was situated on a site that was outstandingly beautiful and offered a variety of terraces so that you could move into sun or shade (as you prefered) throughout the day without losing the wonderful view. The villa was very well maintained by very very kind helpful and pleasent people.There was a slight problem with car hire initially. Autocandia was asking us to accept a very poor standard car. However when we refused to accept it they changed it for a better car without argument.

Overall very good. The villa has beautiful views and is a short walk from the attractive and friendly village. Everyone we met who was involved with the property was very friendly and helpful.

I didn't realise how tired I had become until about the second day at Villa Michalis when I suddenly recognised how a person is supposed to feel. Spending a few days up near Maroulas with the family is the best way to recharge that I can imagine. The pool is small but huge fun nevertheless. The villa is spacious very comfortable with views to make you grin and grin. The beaches are a short drive away and all of Crete is readily accessible yet the location is so remote and peaceful. It's not often that you will ever arrive on holiday and say well this is even nicer than the pictures but these villas are stunning.

Very enjoyable and happy to use Agni Travel again. The actual property was better than the pictures and description.

Could not have been better!

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing week in Crete in Villa Michalis. It was spotlessly clean and in a great location with wonderful views.The scent of rosemary sage and jasmin wafts across the garden as you soak up the sun. We were really pleased with the villa and pool which look much better in reality than the photos on the internet. Maroulas is a lovely historic village where we met some fantastic people - locals and visitors - who all made us feel so welcome especially at the nearby Taverna Katerina.

We had a lovely holiday, a bit unlucky with the weather which was cloudy most of the time and some rain. We loved the house and the location, the facilities were great and the house is very comfy. Because the house was so nice it felt like a home from home and this meant that during the bad weather we enjoyed staying in the house reading playing games and watching some films and didn't feel as though we were trapped by the rain. We also liked how each property though close to each other was still very private. If the weather had been better were sure we would have spent more time around the pool area. We will definitely recommend Agni and the property to our friends and hopefully will be using Agni again for other holidays. Many thanks.

Very relaxing. A comfortable villa with a fantastic view and only the sound of sheep bells and cicadas to disturb the peace. Taverna Katerina within walking distance and shops restaurants and the beach only a short drive away. Very friendly and helpful owners. A week was too short.

Fantastic villa just perfect - and the pool is very private and not overlooked at all which is really nice. Really well kitted out, incredibly helpful (but unobtrusive) rental staff. Couldn't recommend it more highly. Thanks a million

The villa was great. It was a little further from the town and supermarket than we anticipated it being but that wasnt a huge deal as we rented a car. The town of Maroulas was within walking distance and was very beautiful which was nice. Overall it was a very nice holiday retreat

We had an amazing time. The villa was lovely with the most spectacular views of the sea and mountains. Just what we needed to chill out for a week. Agni travel were great and very accommodating with our request for a late check out. We would definitely recommend both the travel company and the villa.

One week was far too short Lovely villa we were spoiled as it was just the two of us but four people would fit comfortably without trampling each other underfoot often a rarity with Greek accomodation. Location views facilities all very good cleaning staff efficient and not intrusive. I count myself extremely fortunate to have stumbled upon this little gem at the last minute.Thanks again to the people at Agni and Eos for making this all possible - and painless
